There has been a significant importance placed on open space in this new community.  Trails will have connectivity through easements placed throughout.  There will a combination of trails and parks that will connect to existing trails though existing tunnels under I-80 and Highway 40.

The Village will have over 60 acres of neighborhood and community parks which will provide a varied range of active programmed uses.  Most significantly will be the “Village Green” that will provide a central place for activities including an outdoor amphitheater and splash pad.  This space will include large swatches of grass and provide a gathering space for the entire community.

The Village falls into the “South Summit School District” which feeds kids into the Kamas Valley for education opportunities.  Due to the distance from the nearest school, South Summit has opened “Silver Summit Academy”.  This offers an alternative to families for education.

“Silver Summit Academy is a public, personalized, blended-learning school within the South Summit School District. The Academy provides a fully individualized STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) focused education for K-12 students. Students at Silver Summit Academy utilize technology paired with face-to-face instruction to reach their individual educational goals. Silver Summit Academy is designed to be different: From its highly flexible interior design to its large maker-space, the goal is to create a school specifically designed to meet the needs of 21st Century Learners.”
