Two World Class Golf Courses to Choose From!

If it’s a challenge you are looking for, you will find it at arguably one of the finest private Golf Clubs in Utah featuring two championship golf courses by none other than Pete Dye and Jack Nicklaus. The Pete Dye Canyon Course and the Painted Valley Course were ranked by Golf magazine as the #2 and #3 in Utah.

The Pete Dye Course

The Pete Dye course is approximately 7700 yards and in true Dye style, you are rewarded for accuracy and penalized for slightly errant shots. But don’t worry the dramatic mountain backdrop plays a good distractor for a bad game of golf. With multiple tee boxes everyone will be suited to play this fun course.

You can find the course layout here: Pete Dye Course Layout

Painted Valley Course

This Jack Nicklaus designed course is no short order. The Painted Valley Course at Promontory is a long 8.098 yards links style is set along a stream through the valleys of this massive development.

Did I mention a long golf course? Bring your driver; keep your woods handy, as even at 7000 ft. in elevation this course plays long!

Don’t worry four sets of tees makes moving forward an option. This will come in handy when approaching the last few uphill into the wind holes. Opening in 2007, this course features bent grass greens and bluegrass fairways. For other opinions you can read a review by the Golf Course Gurus here: Promontory Golf Course Review
